It absolutely sucks when the xbox 360 that you spent so much money on all of a sudden decides to stop working. Trust me I know where you're coming from. And then you start seeing those "red rings of death" and the system refuses to budge. You unplug the system and try to hook it back up while keeping your fingers crossed in hopes that maybe... just maybe it might work.
The crappy thing is that Microsoft only ships the system with a standard 30 day warranty. After that, I believe you have to pay over $100 to get it fixed. Who can afford to pay that much and wait almost a month to get their console back?
Here's what I suggest you do:
1. The first reason that you could be getting this problem is because your system is overheated. Shut it off. Let it cool. Try back in an hour.
2. Lift the power adapter off the floor to give it some air. An overheated power adapter is also a common reason for this problem.
3. Grab this book. This book is written especially for the xbox 360 3 red lights fix. They have neat videos showing you exactly what you need to do to fix your xbox without needing to send it to Microsoft for repair. And it works!
They also have a 2 month or so guarantee in case your system isn't up and running in an hour, you can get your money back. For less than 25 bucks I think that's a bargain. It should definitely solve your xbox 360 3 red lights problem.
